Heston Wind has wind turbines available to ship in 6-12 months, in sizes from 1.8 watts to 2.5 MWs. Below are examples of turbines we have readily available.
TWV-40 Hybrid 4 kW VAWT
Two-West Wind & Solar has developed a state-of-the-art wind turbine with the added hybrid benefit of a solar application. The vertical axis turbine is visually intriguing and provides significant power in many different wind scenarios. Vertical axis wind and solar turbines are a leading edge solution for today’s marketplace.

Building Integrated Wind Turbines
AV’s AVX1000 wind turbine is designed for quick and easy installation onto concrete tilt-up buildings with little or no structural impact. This low profile, modular wind turbine is designed, to affix to the parapet wall of a building to avoid the need for roof penetrations and eliminate the support tower common to conventional turbine designs. The 1000W rated AVX1000 weighs a scant 130 pounds (60 kg), so additional structural reinforcement is not needed. An optional canopy is available to ensure visual integration with the structure, to maximize avian safety.

Blue Sky Wind Turbine Kit 50kW
Designed for medium to large business and commercial applications. This kit provides excellent performance in Class 2 winds at a minimal hub height of only 59 feet. This makes it a great application for urban areas, suburban areas, and other locations that have height restrictions. Energy generation begins in wind speeds as low as 3 meters per second, making this turbine economically feasible in the lower average wind speeds that are typically found throughout the Midwest.

Northern Power Systems 100 kW
An engineering advancement in simplicity and precision, Northern Power Systems' gearless technology maximizes energy capture and outperforms conventional gearbox designs, thereby optimizing the Northwind 100 for low wind speeds. These turbines begin making power at wind speeds as low as 3 meters per second (6.6mph), and can provide clear economic benefits in sites with average annual wind speeds as low as 5.5 meters per second (12.3mph).

ELECON 600 Kw
The Elecon Turbowinds T600-48DS is designed to suit Class 2 wind and any climatic conditions. It is a simple and robust turbine, which is easy to operate with minimum downtime. All of its components are tested for long life under adverse conditions. Each Elecon T600-48DS is designed with adual speed generator, which allows the turbine to perform well even in low wind speeds. It uses a 3 stage gear box which improves long term reliability.

EWT (Emergya Wind Technologies)
900 kW Direct Drive
EWT’s pitch controlled, variable speed wind turbine, combines advanced technology with mechanical simplicity and superior systems reliability. The heart of this proven direct drive turbine is a long-lasting, slow rotating multi-pole ring generator. This reliable solution with, a track record of more than 200 operational units worldwide, replaces the complex geared drive train common in most competitor wind turbines.
